OVERVIEW:
Responsible for generating new business and establishing long term relationships for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Rezidor Hotel Group brands globally within segments determined by the Global Sales Office (GSO) leader(s). Group/MICE focused within the sports industry vertical market segments aligning with the industry strategy. Clients include all related buyers to the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
A daily focused, proactive sales approach towards:
o Delivering incremental business from accounts based in the geographic region assigned to both intra theater (America's) and inter theater (EMEA, Asia) Hotels
o Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the segments and deploy strategies towards capturing business opportunities
o Establish **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Rezidor Hotels as an aggressive player within the market through prospecting calls, in person sales calls, presentations, customer entertainment and events
o Identify specific **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Hotels (Focus hotels) that are positioned well to capture market share from their competition and position accordingly within the customer segment with a targeted, measured approach
* Assists in the communication between Global Sales, Management Companies, Global partners and hotels relating to accounts that profile well for them and communicate lead delivery and status updates
* Develop an individual sales plan for the market assigned that align with Global Directors and the GSO lead
* Generate leads through established lead delivery system and ensure leads are followed up on and business is closed in a timely manner with hotels globally, working directly with the hotel sales team
* Manages customer satisfaction within assigned markets, obtain industry certifications as determined
* Utilize salesforce.com to capture key client information including account productivity to effectively manage client relationships -follows communication protocol as established by GSO lead, i.e. production reporting
* Follows segment strategies including client event planning and execution, tradeshows, etc.
* Responsible for management of budgetary travel and entertainment goals
* Management of revenue production for assigned segments/markets to achieve 100% of revenue goals established
* Partner and communicate with fellow Global Sales team to ensure a unified effort in this marketplace and share leads where appropriate.
* Work with Directors, Global Sales to improve industry and sales knowledge for development purposes
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 2 years of progressive Hotel sales experience
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Ability to close business to achieve and exceed revenue goals on a quarterly basis
* Excellent standards of personal presentation, networker, relationship builder and solid business acumen
* Overnight travel 20%-40%, depending on geographic location in market
* Ability to thrive in a fast paced, self managed, virtual office, work environment

* GSO Office based, based on direction from regional GSO leader
* Reports to Global Sales Office in region with direction from Global Segment Leader
