Schedule This is a term position with a scheduled end date of January 31, 2016. The position may be renewed at the discretion of the Athletic Director and Head Coach.
Evening and weekend work, as well as travel, isrequired.

Duties & Responsibilities With an eye towards creating a championship caliber program, and with a commitment to student-athlete success both on the athletic field and in the classroom, you will lead and manage all aspects of a Division I men''sintercollegiate soccer program. You will coach and develop student athletes;plan and direct the overall training strategy for the program; establish practice, training and competition schedules; oversee strength and conditioning of the athletes; develop and implement a student athlete recruiting strategy; spearhead fundraising efforts and alumni engagement; and superviseAssistant Coaches.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor''s degree required. At least 3 years'' experience coaching or playing college soccer.
Additional Qualifications Outstanding technical, tactical and strategic knowledge of soccer. Strong leadership, interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to work with and relate well to a diverse group of athletes, administrators, and University constituents. Must be able to establish yourself as a respected coach to students, University administration and faculty, alumni, and media representatives. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and a database. Basic video filming, editing and analytical ability.
The ideal candidate is smart and willing to work hard. You should also have strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently. Able to respect and comply with guidelines set forth by Harvard, the Ivy League, and the NCAA. Valid drivers'' license required.
A DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) check is required because you will be driving student-athletes during out-of-town travel.
You''ll need an ability and willingness to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
