The Head Football Coach is a Full-Time, 12-month position and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. football program within the guidelines set forth by **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) and the NCAA. The position reports directly to the Vice President for Athletic Administration. Responsibilities include the identification, evaluation, and recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes; development of practice plans, game strategy; management of the football operating budget; support of fundraising efforts for the program; oversight of compliance, academics, discipline, and other personal matters of the student-athletes and staff; and supervision of assistant coaches.
Master’s degree preferred, bachelor’s degree required. Must have strong team building/management skills. Ability to work across academic and administrative departments in a cooperative manner. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Skilled in the use of a personal computer, Microsoft Office and Hudl software. Ability to coordinate collaborative efforts. Demonstrated experience in program development, recruitment, management and leadership. Ability to interact with members of the public and media. Ability to supervise staff as well as understand the student’s commitment to academics.
