DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This individual will assist with the coordination and monitoring of recreational activities at golf courses. Operate cash registers, issuing receipts and collecting payment for fees, merchandise and services. Answer telephones, book reservations and provide information to customers and the general public. Introduce players and ensure an orderly flow of play in accordance with reserved times and/or on a first-come, first-serve basis. Effectively prepare the pro shop and be mindful to open/close on time. Prepare and stage golf carts for rental and/or charging. Must complete all tasks in accordance with all policies and procedures. Must be able to work early mornings, late afternoons, weekends and holidays as needed.
This position will require stooping, bending, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to work outdoors. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires high school diploma or a GED.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Three (3) months of related experience are required for Recreation Assistant in Community Center.
MINIMUM LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
A valid Texas Driver's License and compliance with the City of Houston's policy on driving (AP 2-2) PREFERENCES
