AVAILABLE: This is a 10-month, full-time position with clinical athletic training responsibilities and teaching. The position begins January or August 2013. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
SALARY/RANK: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's degree in Athletic Training or a closely related field is required. Two years' experience as Certified Athletic Trainer and clinical experience in an accredited CAATE program BOC certification, and PA licensure or eligibility are required. Teaching experience is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as Head Athletic Trainer for Division III sports, primarily varsity/junior varsity football. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of sports coverage, including the prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, as well as supervision of athletic training students and Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainers. The chosen candidate will teach twelve (12) hours of Athletic Training courses per semester with release time for Head Athletic Trainer duties. Other faculty duties include serving on committee assignments, academic advising, recruiting, developing curriculum, and service.
