Duties and Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for recognizing, treating, rehabilitating, and providing emergency care and first aid for injuries and illnesses to intercollegiate student-athletes. Provide coverage of practices and games (this may include travel). Supervise student athletic trainers. Operate, supervise and maintain the Athletic Training Facilities and equipment. Know, recognize, and comply with the laws, policies, rules, and regulations governing the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and its employees, and the rules of the NCAA and affiliated conferences as now constituted or as may be amended in the future. Immediately advises the Director of Athletics or designee if there are reasonable causes to believe violations, whether by employees or students, have occurred or will occur. Other duties as assigned.
CRITERIA FOR GRADUATE STUDENT ASSISTANTS: Current NATABOC Certification at the time of hire. Must be accepted for enrollment into graduate school. Must take a minimum of six (6) credits per semester and maintain the graduate school’s grade point average requirements. Note: International students must take 8 or more credits (full-time) which is a requirement to have a I-20.
BENEFITS: Graduate School Tuition Payment and Fees (up to 9 credits) and a monthly stipend of $1,200 (August 2013 to June 2014). Books not included. Position renewable upon satisfactory performance.

Current CPR/AED certifications
Intercollegiate sports experience (preferably in football) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver’s license.
NATABOC Certification or must be eligible for NATABOC Certification at time of application however if selected, individual must have their NATABOC Certification at the time of hire.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Division I intercollegiate sports experience (preferably in football).
