An Update: Mundy Layoffs in Giles County Announced

Mundy Support Services based in Giles County, Virginia will lay of 123 employees by the end of the year. The reason for the layoff is the expiration of the company’s contract with Celanese. It was previously reported that more than 200 employees would be laid off but this number is incorrect. Despite this, it is believed that a new contractor will hire most of the 123 people being cut by Mundy.
