You want to ensure that you buy a proper sized bike for you - if you buy one too big, it may be hard for you to control, but if you buy one too small it may be dangerous and/or uncomfortable for you to ride. When it comes to choosing the right size, nothing beats actually sitting on the dirt bike and discussing the proper bike size with a knowledgeable sales representative. The second factor to consider is power. If you are a beginner, child, or small person, you should be extra careful not to buy a bike with too much power, as it might prove too difficult for you to control.
