Description:

King University is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Softball Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Softball Coach with all aspects of the program.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree is required, along with a thorough knowledge of the sport, a sophisticated understanding of coaching strategies, and a demonstrated ability to enhance student athlete development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree. Experience coaching at the college level. Demonstrated ability and success in identifying and recruiting student athletes at a private, residential institution.

Responsibilities:

Supervise all activities related to the student athletes; provide professional mentoring to student-athletes; establish the team's competition and practice schedules; Recruit student/athletes that meet King University Admission guidelines to achieve roster goals and field a competitive team; Provide academic, personal, and professional mentoring to student-athletes; Comply with all NCAA rules and regulations;
