Sony has recently confirmed that the SuperBot has laid off a certain share of their staff. An SCEA spokeperson alleged that the work on PlayStation AllStars DLC will be continued despite the layoffs. Sony still has not yet confirmed as to how many employees were laid off. The SuperBot development studio was launched in 2009, and it released its first title, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal, in November 2012.
